Completion, Workover and Stimulation Fluids (Fracturing) Technology
During the fracturing process, the fracturing fluid injected into the well can be divided into:
- Pre-fluid: expand the cracks and cool the formation. In the oil and gas layer with higher temperature, it can also play a cooling role
- Sand-carrying fluid: transport a certain concentration of proppant (ceramsite or quartz sand) to the predetermined position in the crack according to the designed concentration
- Displacement fluid: displace the sand-carrying fluid in the ground manifold and wellbore into the crack.
Hydroxyethyl cellulose has better salt solubility and is an excellent water-based fracturing fluid.
