CELOPRE® ME3 is an ultra-low viscosity (2.4–3.6 mPa·s), highly substituted EP/USP pharmacopoeia grade HPMC, mainly used for pharmaceutical film coating. It is characterized by extremely fast dissolution, extremely thin film formation, and no effect on tablet release.

CELOPRE® ME3 can be used to tablet coating, capsule coating, taste masking, and appearance improvement (smoothness). Essentially, it “only affects the surface, not the structure.”
