Prestar® 1027 is a pregelatinized modified starch made from natural corn starch through special processing techniques. It’s environmentally friendly, neutral, no VOC.
The biggest feature of Prestar® 1027 is:
Prestar™ 1027 is an ideal binder for a lot of applications, including construction. It can be applied in non-binder wall putty or skim coat, in gypsum plasters, light weight gypsum plaster or gypsum based skim coat, joint filler, joint compound etc. to help enhance the strength of the mortar.

Wall putty is an important supporting material in decoration materials, which can fill the surface defects of the decorative base to improve the flatness of the base.
Prestar® Pregelatinized starch can improve the adhesion strength of wall putty.

Joint filler is a material used to fill the joints between tiles or gypsum board, and is combined with decorative materials such as tiles and stone to provide a beautiful surface and resist erosion from external factors.
Prestar® Pregelatinized starch can improve the adhesion strength of joint gypsum.

Prestar®Pregelatinized starch can bind the coal powder particles together, forming a bonding network and enhancing the cold strength of the briquette, so that it is not prone to breakage during storage, transportation and otherprocesses.
Prestar®Pregelatinized can improve the fluidity and plasticity of raw materials such as coal powder, reducing the forming resistance and making the briquette easier to be formed in the mold with a more regular shape.
