Gypsum retarder is used to control and extend the setting time of gypsum-based formulations.

It helps provide sufficient working time for mixing, pumping, application and surface finishing before the material sets.

Gypstar® gypsum retarder can be used in applications such as gypsum plaster, gypsum putty, gypsum filler, gypsum bonding compounds, gypsum precast products and decorative gypsum-based formulations.
