Product List

The chemical composition of calcium formate is Ca(HCOO)₂, which is the calcium salt of formic acid. It is a white or slightly yellow crystalline powder with good water solubility and high stability. In the construction field, calcium formate is an important functional additive, mainly used in building materials such as mortar, concrete, and gypsum. It is mainly used in the early strength and antifreeze formulation of cement-based mortar and concrete, as well as construction projects in winter or low-temperature environments.

1. Early strength agent: Calcium formate accelerates cement hydration and improves early strength;
2. Antifreeze agent: Lowers the freezing point of cement paste and reduces frost damage in cold conditions;
3. Improves durability: Reduces free water content, minimizes shrinkage and cracking, and improves impermeability and service life.
Packed in 25 kg multilayer paper sack with polyethylene intermediate layer and inner P.E. bag.It is recommended that it be kept sealed and away from moisture. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or near fire sources.

Calcium formate product is currently one of the widely used quick setting agents in dry-mix mortar. It has a dual function, which not only effectively improves the early strength of mortar, allowing it to harden quickly, but also has an anti freezing effect during winter construction. Therefore, it is widely used in various types of mortar that require early strength or quick hardening characteristics. Calcium formate not only has a good promoting effect on setting, but also has no adverse effect on the later strength of mortar.
